Terms & Conditions for MAX Car Rental

1. Rental Eligibility:

   • Customers must be at least 21 years of age to rent a car.
   • A valid driver's license (minimum 2 years of driving experience) is required.
   • International customers must present a valid passport and international driving permit.

2. Booking and Payment:

   • Advance booking is required to confirm a vehicle.
   • Full payment for the rental period must be made prior to vehicle pick-up.
   • Accepted payment methods include credit/debit cards and digital payments.

3. Security Deposit:

   • A refundable security deposit is required before the vehicle is handed over.
   • The amount of the security deposit depends on the vehicle type and will be refunded upon the return of the car in the same condition.

4. Rental Duration:

   • Rental periods are calculated on a 24-hour basis.
   • Late returns will incur additional charges at an hourly rate.
   • Extensions must be requested at least 6 hours prior to the scheduled return time.

5. Vehicle Usage:

   • The vehicle must be driven by the customer who booked the rental and any additional driver(s) authorized by MAX Car Rental.
   • The vehicle must not be used for racing, towing, or any illegal activities.
   • Smoking, pets, and carrying hazardous materials in the vehicle are strictly prohibited.

6. Insurance and Liability:

   • All vehicles are covered under basic insurance. However, the renter is responsible for any damage or loss due to negligence.
   • The renter is liable for any traffic violations, toll fees, or fines incurred during the rental period.

7. Breakdown and Accidents:

   • In the event of a breakdown, customers should immediately contact MAX Car Rental for assistance.
   • In case of an accident, customers must notify both MAX Car Rental and local authorities, providing all necessary details.

8. Fuel Policy:

   • Vehicles are provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with the same level.
   • Any shortage in fuel will be charged at the current market rate.

9. Cancellation Policy:

   • Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the rental start date will receive a full refund.
   • Cancellations made within 48 hours of the rental start date will incur a cancellation fee of 20% of the rental amount.

10. Vehicle Condition:

    • The vehicle must be returned in the same condition it was rented out, including cleanliness.
    • Any damage, excessive dirt, or stains will result in additional charges for repair or cleaning.
